On November 25, 2008, NCSoft launched Aion in Korea.

NCSoft is scheduling a North American Beta Event (not a full test) on the weekend of June 5-7th, 2009, covering a part of the game in Elyos from Levels up to 20. Subsequent events will take place to highlight other areas of the game.
